Earthkeepers is a 2-day environmental program for elementary students that teaches about the natural environment in creative ways.
It is a remarkable event. CELP students integrate costume, theme and drama to help hook the grade fives. While remaining in character, CELP students magically and meaningfully communicate key environmental concepts.
It is a hands-on memorable experience.
Six weeks after the conclusion of the program, we visit the grade fives at their home school and hear remarkable stories about environmental changes they have made personally and within their community. Earthkeepers also becomes a significant assessment woven into all four CELP courses.
Between eight to nine elementary schools participate each year. Eathkeepers is a sophisticated and challenging program requiring discipline and extensive training to prepare.
